Description: Smaller than medium sized, the Entlebucher weighs in at 45 to 65 pounds and 16 to 20 inches (44 to 48 cm) tall with a dense, short coat and a bob tail. Since the passing of new regulations in Europe, Entles (as we call them for short) are also seen with long tails. All four breeds are of the same coloration, tri-color; primarily glossy black with a white cross on the chest, a white blaze from the muzzle to the top of the head, white on all four feet and the tip of the tail. A rust color lays between the black and white as well as under the tail and forming the characteristic “fier augen flecken” or four eye spots. The Entlebucher has small triangular ears which are rounded at the tip and held forward when alert. Group: Guardian NORMAL SIZE:
