Description: The Italian Greyhound is sometimes referred to as the IG is the smallest of the sighthounds. He is very similar to the Greyhound, but he is much smaller and more slender in all proportions. He is lively and full of good spirits and wants to please, craves affection and returns it gladly. He adapts well to indoor living. Prone to chills he should be kept in a draft-free environment and given a warm bed to snuggle in. The IG is not a noisy dog, gets along will with other pets and is a clean, odorless dog. He must be handled very gently and should not be placed in a noisy household.
